About
Corporate playbooks. Independent restaurants. One Dunedin family.
Zach and Christina Feinstein founded The Feinstein Group in 2014 and built it together. They looked at 72 restaurants before buying The Black Pearl in downtown Dunedin, then grew it into a family of award-winning restaurants and bars. Today Zach also offers comprehensive consulting services through the firm.

Founder and CEO
Zach Feinstein
"I've never met a problem I couldn't solve."Zach Feinstein
Zach is a Dunedin native with an unusual range: he has run turnarounds across global franchise systems, and he runs award-winning independent restaurants and bars today. He can talk capital plans with an investor in the morning and fix a pour cost behind the bar that night.
At Burger King, Zach took the company's worst district to its best and earned his Six Sigma through McKinsey. His playbooks became a department: Burger King built the SWOT Team (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) around them and sent him around the world to turn around some of the largest franchisees in the system. The method: connect data most people never put side by side, like the P&L, product mix, guest reviews and training records, to pinpoint the real root cause. Then trigger a proven protocol to fix it, fast.
Then he brought that discipline home and applied it to independent restaurants, where margins are thinner and every decision is personal. Today he leads TFG's portfolio and its consulting practice, advising restaurant groups, sports facility operators and investors on F&B strategy, cost control, concessions and management. Outside of hospitality, he's led cost reduction and process work for clients from a single chiropractic office to a $100 million franchisee, with gyms, medical offices, service businesses, SaaS companies and franchisors in between. The range reads wide because the method travels.
Zach sits on several Florida hospitality boards, was named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2022, and organized downtown Dunedin's food and beverage owners to work with the City on a hospitality district. He also co-owns Bread & Butter Social, a Tampa Bay social media marketing agency.

Co-founder and co-owner
Christina Feinstein
Christina co-founded The Feinstein Group with Zach, and the restaurants are as much hers as his. They built it side by side: the search for a first restaurant, the first night at The Black Pearl, and every opening since, from The Living Room to Sonder Social Club to Highland House.
She co-owns every restaurant in the portfolio. When we say family owned, the family starts with her.
